Lauren Goodger has shared a picture of her swollen stomach as she shared further details about her secret health battle on Instagram on Monday.

The TOWIE star,who recently revealed she is suffering with a hernia,said that people may think she is pregnant due to her rounded belly.

Lauren,37,shared a picture of herself lying on her side showing off her stomach,wearing a tight fighting white T-shirt and pink shorts.

She wrote on the image: 'Still got a bump lol. People may think I'm pregnant but I'm not it's just a hernia.'

Last week,the reality personality revealed she was suffering from the 'most painful' health battle as she shared an update with her fans.

Lauren shows off her physique in an Instagram post,shared before her break from the gym  

She captioned the post: 'After 3.5 weeks of zero training and diet... today was my 1st day back and I felt strong! I wasn't sure how I was going to be,but I'm back!!'

'Had a little health scare I've been training got 2.5 months most days and then went to 0 due to life stress and other distractions and also it's 6 weeks holidays!' 

'Day 1 everyday always come back and start again!' 

WHAT IS A HERNIA?

A hernia is a common problem that occurs when an internal part of the body pushes though a weakness in the muscle or surrounding tissue wall.

It can develop between your chest and your hips and causes a swelling or a lump in your abdomen or groin and in many cases surgery is required. 

You should see a GP if you think you have a hernia.

If you develop the following symptoms you should go to A&E:

Sudden,severe painBeing sickDifficulty pooing or passing windThe hernia becomes firm or tender,or cannot be pushed back inThese symptoms could mean that either:

The blood supply to a section of organ or tissue trapped in the hernia has become cut off (strangulation)A piece of bowel has entered the hernia and become blocked (obstruction)A strangulated hernia and obstructed bowel are medical emergencies and need to be treated as soon as possible.
